Terms and Conditions
Welcome to MinhoXtreme. By accessing and using this website, as well as booking our activities, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Bookings and Payments
Bookings can be made through our website form, phone, or email. The booking is only considered confirmed after validation by our team. Payments are usually made at the location before the activity starts, unless otherwise specified.
2. Cancellations and Changes
Cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. MinhoXtreme reserves the right to cancel or change activities due to adverse weather conditions or other safety reasons, in which case a new date will be scheduled or a full refund provided.
3. Safety and Conduct
Participants must follow all instructions provided by our monitors. The use of safety equipment provided (helmets, life jackets, etc.) is mandatory. MinhoXtreme reserves the right to exclude any participant who shows signs of intoxication or behavior that puts safety at risk.
4. Insurance
All our activities include personal accident and civil liability insurance, as required by Portuguese law for maritime-tourist activities (RNAAT n.º 118/2024).
5. Responsibilities
MinhoXtreme is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal objects during the activities. We recommend not bringing valuable items to the tours.
Liability Agreement for Jet Ski (Watercraft): When renting or operating a jet ski, the client expressly agrees to:
- a) Adopt all appropriate procedures and practices for the proper use of the watercraft, in compliance with the "Training" provided and the respective "Instruction and Operation Manual" delivered upon rental;
- b) Assume civil liability for any damages caused to persons or property, as well as damages caused to the watercraft itself under their operation, being liable to pay a deductible/excess of 500 euros in the event of collision or allision;
- c) Assume administrative liability for any fines and penalties arising from the incorrect or inappropriate use of the watercraft, contrary to the Training and "Instruction and Operation Manual" mentioned in item a).
6. Dispute Resolution
For the resolution of any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of this contract that cannot be resolved amicably, the parties determine as competent the District Court of Viana do Castelo, with express waiver of any other.
